Dr Hamzullah khan is currently working as Professor of Haematology, Head Department of Pathology& Director Research & Development Nowshera Medical College, MTI Nowshera, Pakistan.
He did his MBBS from Khyber Medical College and MPH from Gandhara University. He did his M.Phil Haematology from Khyber Medical University Peshawar with the distinction of being the first scholar of the university.
He has special interest in Research in Public Health, Haematology and infectious diseases. He has published more than fifty (50) Research articles in different national and international indexed journals. He has presented his research on various national and international forums. He is member of number of academic societies including European haematology association, Pakistan society of haematology and emirates haematology association.
He is honoured with the young researcher award, young undergraduate creative award and Professor haroon chaudry Mental Health award.
He is working as visiting consultant haematologist and Head of clinical Pathology Department of Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical complex Nowshera. He is also the incharge of the Blood bank and transfusion medicine in QHAMC.
He in addition to his own duties is working as Director Research and Development Nowshera medical college. He is the Chairman of Mortality and Audit Committee of QHAMC. He is also the focal person for COVID-19 Vaccination in MTI Nowshera. He has published more than a dozen research papers in current pandemic covering the prevalence, incidence, gender and age impact, morbidity, mortality of COVID-19. He has also reported the diagnostic and prognostic role of different haematological & inflammatory markers in COVID-19.
In addition to academic and Research activities, he also served this institute on various administrative positions like Hospital Director & Medical Director MTI Nowshera. He has improved the Haematology and diagnostic services in MTI Nowshera.
